To thee, my sister, Maria, for me, ya brother, Tony.
In the lands where sun doth gently kiss the fields,
I, Tony, pen my heart's most fervent plea.
To thee, dear Maria, whose love never yields,
I gift my soul in verse, this day to thee.
Thou art the star that shines within our night,
a mirror of my joys and tears dost thou be.
As twin hearts beat in sync, our spirits light,
I vow my love and kinship ever free.
Thy laughter like a melody so sweet,
In echo's chorus, our twin souls doth meet.
Maria; thou hast coloured all me days,
with hues of love in every heartfelt phrase.
So take these words, dear sister, as my vow,
I cherish thee, my love dost thee endow.
